Getting started
What is AYCEAI?
AYCEAI is an AI-powered learning platform with a personal AI Study Coach, unlimited practice quizzes, and a full curriculum spanning K-12, AP courses, test prep, coding, world languages, and professional exam prep.
Who is AYCEAI for?
Parents and their children, teachers and their students, and adult self-learners preparing for college, professional, or licensing exams.
How do I create an account?
Sign up with your email on the website. Parents and teachers set up their own account first, then add students under it.
Do students need their own email address?
No. Students log in with a username and password that the parent or teacher creates for them — no email required.
How do students sign in?
They go to the app and enter the username and password set up for them by their parent or teacher.
Is there an app, or is it a website?
AYCEAI runs in your web browser on computers, tablets, and phones — there's nothing to download.
What can I do for free?
After a one-time parental verification, you get 15 days of full access, including the AI coach, quizzes, and the entire subject catalog (with daily limits on the free plan).
How quickly can my child start learning?
Right after sign-up and verification — pick a subject and the AI coach is ready immediately.
Plans & pricing
What plans do you offer?
Three: Free (a one-time $5 verification, then 15 days of access), Curriculum ($39/month), and Career ($99/month) for professional and licensing exam prep.
What does the Free plan include?
The full subject catalog (K-12, AP, test prep), the AI Study Coach, up to 5 AI quizzes per day, up to 30 coach messages per day, 1 student account, and 15 days of full access after verification.
Why is the Free plan $5 if it's free?
The $5 is a one-time parental-verification charge required by children's privacy law (COPPA) to confirm a parent is setting up the account. After that, your access is free for 15 days with no subscription.
What does Curriculum plan include?
Everything in Free, plus unlimited quizzes and coaching, quizzes up to 10 questions, 2 students included, custom assignments with AI grading, all AP courses and SAT/ACT/GRE test prep, advanced coding (Java & C++), Code Lab, neural voices, and role-play practice.
How much is Curriculum?
$39/month, or $374/year if you pay annually (a 20% saving).
What does Career include?
Everything in Curriculum, plus professional and licensing exam prep — medical and nursing boards, law, finance and business exams, IT and cloud certifications, public-safety exams, real estate, insurance, teaching, trades, and more.
How much is Career?
$99/month, or $950/year if you pay annually (a 20% saving).
What's the difference between Curriculum and Career?
Curriculum is built for families and classrooms (2nd-12 through college and test prep). Career adds professional licensing and certification exam prep and is designed for one individual adult learner — it doesn't include student accounts.
Which professional exams does Career cover?
A wide range, including medical and nursing boards (USMLE, NCLEX, MCAT, NAPLEX), law and business (Bar, LSAT, CPA, PMP), IT/cloud (AWS, CompTIA, Cisco, Scrum), public safety (EMT, paramedic, fire, law enforcement), and licensing for real estate, insurance, teaching, and the trades.
Is Career for kids?
No — Career is for an individual adult learner (18 or older) and doesn't support adding student accounts.
Can I save money by paying yearly?
Yes. Annual billing saves 20% versus paying monthly on both Curriculum and Career.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes — you can upgrade at any time, and the new features become available right away.
Is there a free trial?
Yes — after the one-time parental verification, you get 15 days of full access before deciding whether to subscribe.
What happens when my 15 days of free access end?
You'll be prompted to subscribe to Curriculum or Career to keep learning. Your account and history are kept.
Billing & payments
How is payment handled?
Securely through our payment processor at checkout. We don't store your full card details.
What payment methods do you accept?
Major credit and debit cards through our secure checkout.
When am I charged?
The one-time $5 verification is charged at sign-up. Subscriptions are charged when you upgrade and then on each renewal (monthly or yearly).
Will my subscription renew automatically?
Yes — monthly or annual plans renew automatically until you cancel.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time and keep access through the end of the period you've paid for.
How do I cancel?
Manage your plan from your account, or contact us at [email protected] and we'll help.
Is the $5 verification charge refundable?
It's a one-time charge to verify a parent and unlock access. If you have a billing concern, contact [email protected].
Do you charge per student?
Curriculum includes 2 students. Beyond that, each additional student is $20/student per month (or $192/year on an annual plan), added to your subscription.
If I remove a student, does my bill go down?
Yes —next billing cycle - your per-student charges adjust to match how many students you currently have.
Do prices include tax?
Any applicable taxes are shown at checkout.
Privacy, safety & parental controls
Why do you need parental verification?
Children's privacy law (COPPA) requires confirming that a parent or guardian has set up and consented to a child's account. The one-time $5 charge is how we verify this.
Is AYCEAI safe for children?
Yes. Accounts for children are created by a verified parent or authorized teacher, students sign in without sharing personal email, and the experience is designed for learning.
Do you collect personal information from children?
We keep children's data to a minimum — for example, students sign in with a username rather than an email address.
Who can create a child's account?
Only a verified parent/guardian or an authorized teacher, who must confirm they have consent to do so.
Is my payment information secure?
Yes — payments are processed through a secure, industry-standard payment provider.
What ages is AYCEAI appropriate for?
It supports learners from early grades through high school, college, and adult professional learners, with content matched to the chosen level.
Are the AI's answers always correct?
The AI is a powerful study aid, but like any tutor it can occasionally be wrong. That's why we make it easy to flag an answer you disagree with so it can be reviewed.
Is AYCEAI a replacement for school?
No — it's a study aid and practice companion. For professional exams, it's preparation support, not an official or exam-authoritative source.
Can teachers use AYCEAI with their class?
Yes. Teachers can create classes, add students, assign work, and review AI-assisted grading.
Do you sell my data?
No. Please see our Privacy Policy for full details on how data is handled.
How is student progress kept private?
A student's work and progress are visible to their own parent/teacher account, not to other families.
From your class page, choose "Add student," then set their name, username, password, grade level, and (optionally) subjects.
How many students can I add on the Free plan?
One student account on the Free plan.
How many students are included with Pro?
Two students are included; additional students are $20 each per month.
Can I add students on the Career plan?
No — Career is for a single individual learner. To manage students, choose Pro.
Can both parents manage the same children?
Yes. You can invite a co-parent to help manage your family's account, at no extra cost — they share the same plan.
Can I pick which subjects a student sees?
Yes — when you add a student you can highlight subjects for them, and they can still browse the full catalog.
Can I change a student's grade level later?
Yes — you can update a student's details, and their subjects and content adjust to the level you choose.
Can I see how my child is doing?
Yes — you can view their quizzes, scores, study time, and recent activity.
Can I reset my student's password?
Yes — you can update your student's sign-in details from your account.

Do you cover AP courses?
Yes — a broad range of AP courses across math, science, history, languages, computer science, and the arts (included with Professional and Career).
Do you help with the SAT, ACT, or GRE?

Does the content match my child's grade?
Yes — content is tailored to the grade level you select for each student.
AI Study Coach
What is the AI Study Coach?
A personal AI tutor you chat with — it explains concepts, answers questions, gives examples, and quizzes you on what you're learning.
Does the coach only quiz me on subjects I've studied?
The Study Coach focuses on the subjects you've taken and the level you've chosen, so practice stays relevant.
Is there a limit on coach messages?
On Free, up to 30 coach messages per day. Curriculum and Career have unlimited coaching.
What happens if I hit my daily coach limit?
You'll be invited to upgrade to Curriculum or Career for unlimited coaching; your limit resets the next day.
What is the whiteboard feature?
A digital scratchpad where students can draw, write, or work through a problem, and the AI can read and respond to it.
Do I need a stylus or tablet?
No — it works with a mouse, trackpad, or touchscreen, and it's especially nice on an iPad with a pencil.
Can the coach actually understand my drawing?
Yes — the AI reads what you've drawn or written and gives feedback based on your actual work.
Quizzes & progress
How do quizzes work?
The AI generates quiz questions on your chosen topic, you answer them, and you get instant feedback and explanations.
How many quizzes can I take for free?
Up to 5 AI quizzes per day on the Free plan; Curriculum and Career are unlimited.
How long are the quizzes?
On Curriculum and Career, quizzes can run up to 10 questions; free quizzes are shorter.
Do quizzes adapt to what I'm learning?
Yes — they're generated around the subjects and topics you're working on.
Can I review my mistakes?
Yes — you can practice a fresh set built from your most recent mistakes to reinforce what you missed.
Voice & languages
Can AYCEAI read lessons and answers aloud?
Yes — the AI Study Coach can speak its responses out loud, so learners can listen as well as read.
What do the voices sound like?
Natural, human-sounding neural voices (included with Curriculum and Career). On other plans, the platform can still read text using your device's built-in voice.
Can I hear how a single word or phrase is said?
Yes — there's a speaker button next to words and phrases. Tap it to hear just that word.
Can it speak languages that don't use the English alphabet?
Yes — words in scripts like Arabic, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Hindi, and Russian all have a speaker so you can hear them correctly.
Are the natural voices included for free?
The premium neural voices are part of Professional and Career. The Free plan can still read text aloud using your device's standard voice.
Can I talk to the coach instead of typing?
Yes — tap the microphone button and speak, and your words are turned into text for the coach.
Does it understand the language I'm learning?
Yes — on a Spanish page it listens for Spanish, on a French page for French, and so on, so your speech is recognized in the right language.
Can I practice and check my pronunciation?
Yes — the pronunciation trainer lets you say a phrase in your target language and get feedback on how accurately you said it.
What feedback does the pronunciation trainer give?
You'll see scores for accuracy, fluency, and completeness, plus word-by-word feedback showing which parts to work on.
Do I need a microphone for voice features?
Yes — you'll need a device with a microphone and you'll be asked to allow microphone access in your browser.
Is my voice stored?
Your speech is used to recognize your words or score your pronunciation in the moment. See our Privacy Policy for details on how data is handled.
Voice input isn't working — what should I check?
Make sure your browser has permission to use the microphone and that the right microphone is selected on your device. If it still doesn't work, contact [email protected].
Coding (Code Lab)
What is the Code Lab?
It's a built-in coding workspace where students write code, run it, and see the results right on the screen — no setup or installs.
Can students actually run their code?
Yes — for example, Python runs right in your browser, so students see real output instantly when they press Run.
What happens with Java and C++?
For Java and C++, the AI traces through your code and walks you, step by step, through what it does and what it would output — a guided way to learn how the code behaves.
Is there coding for younger kids?
Yes — there's a Scratch-style block-coding studio with drag-and-drop blocks, sprites, and a stage, so younger learners can build without typing.
Can kids build games and animations?
Yes — the block-coding studio is made for creating animations and simple games by snapping blocks together.
Is my code saved if I leave and come back?
Yes — your work in the Code Lab is saved, so it's there when you return to that subject.
Can the AI coach help me fix my code?
Yes — show or paste your code and the coach will explain what's happening and help you correct errors.
Which coding subjects come with which plan?
Scratch (block coding), Python, and Web Development are available on all plans; Java and C++ are included with Curriculum and Career.
Do I need to install anything to start coding?
No — everything runs in your web browser, so students can start coding immediately.
Teachers & classrooms
Can teachers create their own assignments?
Yes — teachers can create custom assignments for their class, including uploading their own materials.
Can the AI grade student work?
Yes — teachers can have the AI grade open-ended responses against a rubric, then review and adjust before finalizing.
Do teachers stay in control of grades?
Yes — the AI suggests grades and feedback, but the teacher reviews and has the final say.
Can teachers see how the whole class is doing?
Yes — teachers get a class view of activity, quizzes, and progress.
