Privacy Policy

How we collect, use, and protect your information — including children’s privacy under COPPA.

Last updated: 06/08/2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information AYCEAI (“we,” “us”) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the AYCEAI website and services.

Operator: AYCE AI LLC  · Contact: [email protected]

1. Information we collect

You provide: account details (name, email, password, role, grade level); for child accounts set up by a parent or school, a child’s first name/nickname and grade band (the minimum needed); learning content you submit (answers, quiz responses, messages to the Study Coach); and billing details for the verification charge and any subscription, processed by our payment processor (we do not store full card numbers).

Collected automatically: usage and device data and cookies needed to run and secure the service.

2. How we use information

To provide the service (accounts, lessons, quizzes, feedback, progress), to process payments, to keep the service secure and comply with law, and to communicate with you. For child accounts, we do not use personal information for targeted advertising, and we do not sell children’s personal information.

3. AI processing

To generate lessons, grade quizzes, and provide feedback, we send learning inputs to our AI provider(s)  acting as our service provider under contract. We limit what we send and do not permit providers to use children’s personal information to train their models.

4. How we share information

Only with service providers that help us operate (cloud hosting, payment processing, AI providers) under contracts limiting their use; with schools where a school account is involved; with legal/safety recipients when required by law; and with a successor in a merger or acquisition subject to this Policy. We do not sell personal information.

5. Children’s Privacy (COPPA)

AYCEAI is intended to be used by children only through a parent/guardian account or a school account.

If you believe we have collected information from a child without the required consent, contact us and we will promptly investigate and delete it where appropriate.

6. Schools and student data (FERPA)

When used through a school, we act as the school’s service provider and use student information only to provide the educational service, under the school’s direction. We do not use student information for advertising and do not sell it. The school is responsible for any parental notices/consents required by law.

7. Data retention & security

We keep personal information only as long as needed to provide the service and for legitimate or legal purposes, then delete or de-identify it. We use reasonable safeguards (encryption in transit, access controls, managed cloud infrastructure); no system is perfectly secure.

8. Your choices & rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. Contact [email protected] to exercise rights; we will not discriminate against you for doing so.

9. Changes & contact

We may update this Policy and will communicate material changes. For changes affecting children’s information, we will obtain new parental consent where required. Questions: [email protected].
